Fun Find!

If you are looking for something cheap and fun for around the house, you gotta check these out.  I bought them for $9 at Tuesday Morning.  You can stick them anywhere around the house and write/draw on them with chalk.  I put one in my workroom to write sessions down that I need to edit.  I LOVE to mark things...

YAY! Crosby is at the top of the list! : )

Looks great. And the artwork isn’t bad, either!

Remember Me {Movie Review}

I was feeling like a nice romantic chick flick the other night so I went and picked up this movie.  I mean, it has Robert Pattison in it (pause for screaming if you are a Twilight fan) and all the trailers make it look like this sappy, romantic love story.  HOLY DEPRESSING.  Talk about ruining my...

Hey, it’s Katinas daughter if you didnt remember.(: I watched that movie with my friend Amy and she had already seen it a couple times and said it was good but “kinda sad” and I was like well okay, lets watch it. So we watched it. By the time he died, Amy was asleep and I was sitting here crying and yelling “NOOOOOOOOO!!!!” at the TV…i feel your pain! Haha!

Carissa,
I’m delurking to make a comment! It’s Emily Fritts, one of Stacee’s roommates 2001-2002, also a Diamond Doll! :) First…I love your work and you do amazing photography. You rock that camera girl. Second…you and Mike have a great love story and your children are beautiful. Third…I love your blog and secretly check in about every day! Fourth…..about the movie…. I was invited to a girls night when this was in the theater. We went and ate pizza at Savastano’s and then went to this movie. Horrible. Depressing. I didn’t even know what to feel. I wanted to tell everyone how horrible it was, and I just ruined it for them. However, I went into it with almost the exact same thoughts as you…a romantic film. It has to be good, surely. Nope. Nada. Zero. Zilch. I’m glad I’m not the only one that thought so!

Last Day of School & Baby Curls

I’m getting caught up on my blogging from May.  Here are some pictures from Easton’s last day of school.  This is the only picture I have of Easton.  Yes this blog was suppose to be about his last day of school and I was suppose to take tons of pictures of him with his friends...

You could homeschool him. :)

Take it from someone who has been through it. If the first one is a panic to put in Kindergarten, the last one is a crisis. The first day I dropped Jay off at Kindergarten I was excited to have the whole day to myself. Where to go first? The Mall of course! Then I found myself at a jewelry counter telling the clerk about dropping my son off at Kindergarten and how lonely I was. Pretty pathetic cause it took me a while to realize I was tell him my life story and he had a bored expression on his face! I gave up on my free day and went home.

I know just how you feel Carissa!! I just finished having a panic attack from Monday when Kyle started “Jump Start”. It is a summer school program here in Joplin to get kids familiar with their school and teacher and they go ALL DAY.. He did not even kiss me when I dropped him off.. I mean I was in labor with him for 18 hrs. I think I at least deserve a kiss!! Where does the time go??

I’m hyperventilating just thinking about it!!! I’m already having a panic attack about sending Tytus to Pre-K and now I have to think about Easton being at school ALL DAY LONG! I know other mom’s have done it…but, will we actually make it through this?!?!

Things I want to remember about this crazy time in my life that I haven’t had time to blog about, all packed into one random blog post….. 1.  Apartment Crazies -  So a week or so ago I laid the kids down for a nap and then went outside to take the trash out.  When...

Hilarious! I loved reading this post. I don’t know how you do it every day with all the craziness in your life. You just seem to take in all in stride. I hope that it slows down for you a bit once the house is finished, but I’m sure that you’ll find something else to tackle! Thanks for sharing.

OK. I just about spit my cup of hot tea all over the computer when I read about Dad going after the saw-stealers. Seriously? A SHOVEL? Only Dad. : )

You’ve been working a LOT- I can’t wait to see how much is done on the house. Leave some stuff for B&E to do! As you can imagine, they have been talking endlessly about how they are going to go “work” for Dad this summer.

And I’m just going to publicly admit that I’m jealous that your bathroom is large enough for a crib. If anyone were to sleep in my bathroom, it would be in the bathtub itself. Ah, the joys of the big city.

Meeting Desmond.

Over a year ago, my friend and college roommate, Suzanne, started a blog.  It was not just your typical blog though.  It was a blog announcing some very exciting news….that they would be adopting a baby from Rwanda!  Via her blog, my kids and I were able to follow every step of her adoption.  I...
